These pages serve as a journal of my family’s trip to Japan in summer 2025 and provide information and tips for those visiting Japan. We had much of our trip planned and organized by InsideJapan Tours. This was super convenient because we lacked knowledge about where to go and did not have time to research and organize hotels, train tickets, etc.

If you have the interest and time to plan this all yourself, you can save significant money! There are several resources available where you can find ideas about places to visit, sights to see, and where to stay, among other things. Additionally, most hotels, etc., can be booked online. You can also consider Airbnb, which is available in Japan.
