A Ghibli day
Today’s ultimate destination is the Ghibli Museum (三鷹の森ジブリ美術館) 🗾, a museum dedicated to the process used by Studio Ghibli and to its products. This museum requires reservations, which are hard to get. The only way we were able to do this was by signing up for an all-day Studio Ghibli-themed bus tour that included the museum.
The bus tour departed from the Keio Plaza Hotel (京王プラザホテル) 🗾, where we were required to assemble at 9:45 AM. Each participant was given a unique ceramic Studio Ghibli tea cup for the tour (not available elsewhere). A luxury tour bus was used, with an onboard guide narrating and explaining.

The tour makes three stops:
We returned to the Keio Plaza Hotel (京王プラザホテル) 🗾 around 7:10 PM and went in search of dinner.

The tour started near Shinjuku station, went down and to the right to Hotel Gajoen Tokyo, then went clockwise, all the way to the left to the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum, back to the right to the Ghibli Museum, and then back to the hotel.
