Kyoto: Ginkaku-ji - Temple of the Silver Pavilion

Ginkaku-ji, officially named Jishō-ji, is a Zen temple in the Sakyo ward of Kyoto, Japan. It is one of the constructions that represent the Higashiyama Culture of the Muromachi period. It is also known as: Temple of the Silver Pavilion.

After touring the garden (one cannot go inside the Pavilion), we exited and made our way to the nearby Philosopher’s Path.
